Fantasy Tan Bashes UV Tanning
 

Are we going to tolerate this in our industry? Let's get them to changes their site or run 'em outta town. I am sick of the spray society touting that spray is safe when in fact it is not and it has not been evaluated by the FDA on any level.

I am also sick of the spray society bashing the industry that they ride on for revenue. If it wasn't for UV tanning then they would not have had any platform to work from in the first place.

I don't like spray for many reasons but I am willing to let it coexist with UV but if companies are going to blatantly spew this garbage to the public then they need to be stopped and they need to be shut down.

We cannot have the industry as a whole bashing itself from the inside. This will just give the sun scare coalition more fuel for the fire. How can we fight for this industry when it is destroying itself from within?

E-mail these clowns with your thoughts on this. Let's get this changed or shut down. If they don't change their approach then let's alienate them in an industry wide boycott. We can't have this going on.

Does anyone know if they are going to be on the show floor in Nashville?

If so, someone should contact Smart Tan and let them know about this azz clown of a company, and have them booted from the show.

If not, everyone walk by and egg em!

I just called to speak with Lester, he was in a training session. I plan to find out what percentage of his current customers offer UV tanning. If any of you offer Fantasy Tan in your salon I would urge you to make a call. I don't presently, but have started to look into the airbrush options and the fact that Fantasy Tan is in my backyard would have been a big plus.

Once I have spoke with Lester I will follow up here.

I've never seen them at a show before. I did request that Tantalk ban the words Fantasy Tan from the site a few days ago. I think they're working on it.

As an industry professional, I am extremely disappointed to see you capitalizing on the lies surrounds our industry. I believe you will suffer a great deal of repercussions due to your statements. They should go something like this:

Fantasy Tan abandons the integrity of the tanning industry for hopes of higher profits.
Fantasy Tan loses too many clients.
Fantasy Tan's revenue takes a steep drop.
Fantasy Tan closes operation.

The companies I deal with are very receptive to the UV industry. If you honestly have a good business model and a quality product you don't need scare tactics to sell your product. This puts Fantasy Tan in a class of desperation IMO.
