Wow? A sunless tanning company posting negative information on their web site about UV Tanning? I wonder if they would refuse selling one of those expensive systems to a tanning salon owner today? I know they did not have a problem with that when they first started that company? They were selling a Iwata compressor and airbrush systems that cost $350 at best and a couple of gallons of solutions to salons for $5000 and up, I know many people who purchased them and those salons helped get them where they are today.

You really don't get it. I do not bash non-uv to sell uv. Just show me how I am doing to my clients what Lester is doing to his? Anyone of us could find documentation from a reputable third party source to back up almost any opinion.

Sunless would not be around today,if tanning salon owners 10 years ago, did not take a big risk and put Mystics and Mist-Ons in our salons. It was not just putting the booths in, but also all the time and $ in promotions, marketing/advertising.

Fantasy Tan would not exist without tanning salons.

Its called competition and its part of capitalism.I DO NOT agree with the comments he made,but he is just taking advantage of information that is freely available.He did not manifest these accusations himself.

If you think companies like Infinity Sun,Mystic,Magic,Versaspa and the like are not pumping money into negative ad campaigning against U.V tanning,your sadly mistaken.They are just not public about it.

If your going to ban someone like fantasy tan,you should consider banning all sunless from the boards,because they are all guilty of bashing the tanning industry,some just choose not to expose themselves.

This is not about politics,its about marketing.

And here's the big problem. Lester knows that a large percentage of sun salons also offer sunless as an alternative. So he knows the majority of you won't bash Sunless in your salon to get back at these people. The sunless industry has positioned themselves to co-exist like a parasite.

Because of that though, they are also on the receiving end of this sunscare message. GMA had derms saying spray sunless is hazardous and not FDA approved. So there...
