Re: 4th of July Parade Float Ideas 1 Attachment(s) We did a parade for mardi gras, we didn't do a float because our vehicle is wrapped. But we threw beads from the car, and had our teenage kids and their friends pass them out while walking beside us. We attached our business card thats brightly colored with a colored paperclip (we hole punched the top of the cards) and on the back of each of our business cards is a free session. Every one loved them! we threw out over 2000 & people were begging for more of them when we ran out. Sure it was just for the beads but it had to help to put 2000 business cards in the hands of people in my community! 4th of July parade is a great idea too! Found this pic of a parade that looked pretty cool .... |
Re: 4th of July Parade Float Ideas i like the above idea. except i dont like 100% free...so i would do buy 1 tan get 1 free. or if need be do 1 free tan or x% off a month....make the discount a youd be stupid not to buy it discount....40% 50% off you can make special cards for just that event yourself cheap at vistaprint.com or you could individually number biz cards and require people to come into the salon to see what their number is worth...grand prize 3 months 6 month 1 yr....whatever when they get 2 the salon they need to purchase something or join (if your fee based) to get the prize.. make all the prizes except the grand prize buy x get x free |
Re: 4th of July Parade Float Ideas I love the idea of numbering the business cards!! Thats creative! Our one free visit was limited to new customers only... I've only had the salon for a little over a year, so i'll do (almost) whatever it takes to get them in the door at least once... The business cards have worked really well for me though. Every single business card of mine has our hours, and cheapest tanning club price on the front and on the back there is a blank box, and One Free Session (new customers only). I put a stack of these in every room of my tanning salon with a notice on the door about referrals... all the customers do is simply write their name on the back in the blank box and give em out, leave them in the break room, hand them on bulletin boards and when the card is returned the customer with the name on the back gets a free upgrade. I have received almost 800 of these cards back in the past 6 months. And my tanning club went from 68 when i bought it to almost 400. Not saying that was all from the cards, had alot to do with good salespeople. But the cards brought in over half of those clients. |
Re: 4th of July Parade Float Ideas referal programs are the best. i put referal cards in all my rooms also. |
