Re: Time it takes to clean a bed

we take 2-3 mins for our beds, and I even have my girls wipe across the acrylics to feel for anything we might of missed. Several times I have had to "retrain" my top sales girl on how to clean. I told her she might be able to sell lotion, but she didnt know how to clean a bed! She has improved quite well. Its amazing when you point out places the girls miss how well they learn.

I go to a local Salon by the name of Coco Beach. The Girls always take under a minute to clean the beds and use the same towel to clean the beds. Not the same client towel, but same dirty Rag to clean bed after bed.

Re: Time it takes to clean a bed

2-3 min. in our salon. Absolutely agree that sanitizer needs some time to work on the acrylic surface. Of course vertical sunbeds are much faster to clean than horisontal.
We clean sunbeds immediately after client's left, so all sunbeds are standing clean, but if some clients ask to clean it so they see it, we do it without any problems again in front of him/her.

I'm shocked to hear that people use the same towel to clean all sunbeds 8-)

Nice joke:)

Re: Time it takes to clean a bed

At our salon we can usually get it done in 1-2 minutes (and that's a good throughout cleaning)

Re: Time it takes to clean a bed

The time it take may have to do with the chemical you are using too. I dont use any of that AG stuff. I use a product sold to hospitals that only needs a 4 minute contact time - and thats for total kill of HIV-1. 99.9% of everything else is killed on contact. Also requires no rinsing. I think the AG stuff technically does? Cost is about $20/gallon with 2oz per diluted mixture. The only thing I hate is that in concentrate it can be a rather strong irritant to the eyes. In dilute is of little concern. Also contains no alcohol.

Re: Time it takes to clean a bed

^^^^How funny Unity, I do the same thing! Costs more, but well worth it to kill HIV, Hep C, etc. We get alot of strippers, & I certainly don't want any bugs getting' to me or my clients!
