Rep Power: 17 | Re: Time it takes to clean a bed it takes us about 2-3 minutes, we spray the bed with the solution , let it sit, clean the room in the meanwhile....then wipe it off! Then we spray the bed again and clean it one more time! We would rather take an extra minute and have the beds super clean. |

We spray, let the spray sit, wipe with a clean towel, spray again then wipe with another clean towel then send clients in..also on a nightly basis wipe (with bleach water) all door knobs, tops of beds, handles where clients touch, cabinets, etc..when you walk into my salon you know it is clean and well maintained. |

I am surprised you havent had major complaints or problems with the health board. The one place you shouldnt be trying to save money on is your sanitizer or cleaning products. Maintain a sanitary and healthy salon and your customers will always come back and spend 100 times what you pay for sanitizer. Spray entire piece of equipments including all acrylics and handles . clean up trash and winkease papers, empty lotion packets ect. . Wipe down sanitizer. Replace towels . and reset bed from the room to avoid the" ROOM 4 is all set" screaming from employee to employee :] |

Re: Time it takes to clean a bed I normally clean mine within 1-2 minutes......definately getting those sides and upper part.....I know the salom I went to years ago, would go into clean the bed and be out within 30 seconds....needless to say, I ALWAYS cleaned the bed(s) before getting in them......there is no way they could have cleaned the whole tanning bed area....and pillow in 30 seconds ..... better to be safe than sorry anyways! I definately didn't want someones sweat on me :::ewwww:::

"I cleaned it for you... it's all set" and we smile and thank them before we go back in and clean it to our specs. I've had a few customers say... "Oh you don't have ot clean it that good for me"... and my reply is, "I clean every bed as if I'm the next one going in it", which they appreciate. |
