Rep Power: 0 | Re: Are Raffles legal? Legally, it depends. Will you advertise this raffle outside your salon ? If its only in your salon, within your customer, you can have not as long as you do not exceed $300 in prizes. This means that a person has to be inside the salon to find out there is a drawing among your members. You cannot advertise this in your window or anywhere else because then you will need a permit. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Are Raffles legal? As I said before. What you do within your own premises is your own business. You are not allowed to promote that you are having a rafffle. Its just like us here we sell raffle tickets within the office every payday to help buy some stuff for the Xmas party. We sell tickets and the pot is share 50/50. Half goes to the person who wins and the other half for the Xmas party. So if you want to do this as a promotional stunt no you cannot do it. |
