When should i tan again??

Hey guys i went for the first time 3 days ago and got a decent burn, it didnt peel or anything but it was very red, it is now not sore at all and the redness has gone down, is it ok to go now with it being just barely red or should i still wait?

Give it another 24hrs or so. Then hit it but don't go up in time.

Re: When should i tan again??

there is no such thing as a decent burn. you should have never burned in the first place. all that does it slow down the process of tanning because the top layer of skin (the one that tans) is going to dry up and slough off. I truly hope u are using a salon quality lotion and mosturizer. store bought stuff will do u more harm that good when it comes to tanning. I agree with engfant, you should not go up on time, may want to consider going down a few minutes to ensure that u do not burn again. Good luck with your tan!!

Did you demand a tanning time or did the consultant burn you? Either way follow what they said above...you are not supposed to burn!

With that said............ How many times does a customer come in and say "I get my first burn and then I can tan the rest of the summer"

and the tanning education battle continues!

I hate that. Or "I have to burn fist to get a good tan."

Re: When should i tan again??

Had one of those peeps argueing with my new girl yesterday...full time, i will get out when i feel hot. I go the full time at the other salon. Um the other salon does have the same bed you are using, but they use 100 w nonreflective lamps, they also dont change them. that is why i charge $65 in that unit and they charge $25. i hope she fried. lol
