Rep Power: 22 | Re: FL Business in 2008 Why? If the customers aren't visiting the tanning salons, they certainly aren't visiting these forums. Florida, you're not the only one with down business. I'm in Wisconsin and I'm in my 2nd year of declining business. In other words, if I had a lot of debt, I would be singing "another one bites the dust". |

Rep Power: 17 | Re: FL Business in 2008 I havn't been around really long enough to know (Opened April 07) but we were doing great until July 14th and then the bottom fell out. Were still averaging 50 a day during the week but lotion sales are down. |

Rep Power: 21 | Re: FL Business in 2008 Thanks...After I wrote the post I also thought...I shouldn't have said Just FL Biz...LOL...Same here 2nd year decline but this year just is so much worse than last year....It really stinks when you have a SLOW busy season to hit an even slower summer season...GRRRRRR...If you are thinking of getting in the tanning industry--RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION!!! Rep Power: 18 | Re: FL Business in 2008 I have noticed that I'm getting a ton of "how much to tan" calls this week. I hate those calls, or thought I did until they were not happening anymore. So at least I know that it's starting to come to people's minds again. That's a great sign.
