Question ROOM SIZE-WILL IT FIT?

If the room is 98 inches wide and the bed is 96 inches wide will it fit?

Re: ROOM SIZE-WILL IT FIT?

What type of bed? Does it vent at the end caps?

Either way thats not much room for ventilation!

Re: ROOM SIZE-WILL IT FIT?

DON'T KNOW! i AM CONSIDERING BUYING SALON W/5BEDS AND 1 STAND UP. THE OWNER IS OUT OF TOWN UNTIL NEXT WEEK. I HAVE LOTS OF? FOR HER. I MEASURED ONE OF HER ROOMS TODAY AND IT WAS 98X91.i'M SURE ALL 5 ARE THE SAME. iF I UPGRADE TO A BIGGER BED I MAY HAVE TO EXPAND WALL ON THE FRONT ROOM.HOW MUCH ROOM DO I NEED FOR VENTILATION? THE ROOMS ARE 98 X91.

Re: ROOM SIZE-WILL IT FIT?

Caps off please!

Most beds I see need AT LEAST 6 inches of room at foot and head. So add AT LEAST 12" to any length of bed. The more the better though. When it comes to the back of the bed, most can ride right up against the wall.

Always check with the manual though, they have room size recommendations.

One way to "cheat" is if the rooms are off a hallway and the head of foot are against a hallway wall. One could install a vent in the wall at the right height of the bed to help ventilate.

Re: ROOM SIZE-WILL IT FIT?

I'm thinking you mean the bed is 96" long not wide. That is a pretty long bed! Your rooms are 8'2"X7'7". That is an acceptable room size for most level 1 or level 2 beds. I even got a TA Delray in a room smaller than that and its fine. Are you ure your bed is 96", that is a long bed, most big vhr beds are not even that long. Maybe 81"?

Re: ROOM SIZE-WILL IT FIT?

Question when you put the bed together in the room how are you going to put the canopy on? Knock a wall down and turn 2 rooms into 1 or 3 into 2 rooms.

Re: ROOM SIZE-WILL IT FIT?

I'm looking at the Solaris 542. The info I have is 96"L x 51"W x 60"H. It says recommended room size is 10' x 9'. Just didn't know if it would work in smaller room.

Re: ROOM SIZE-WILL IT FIT?

Put in wall vents by the bed's vents and you can shoe horn it in.
