In the UK the tanning industry is constantly slated by the press. I saw that the ITA are hitting back with an ad campaign against the anti sunbed lobby and would like to ask if it seems to have been effective.

I think so cause it makes people turn on their brains and actually THINK which is something that doesn't happen too often.

Yes, and better sooner than later.

The perfect campaign will not change everybody's mind.

However, a good campaign will raise public awareness and discourse and shift the tipping point on the balance of public opinion.

Moving public opinion just 5%-10% towards positive is huge and may be the necessary margin to thwart anti-tanning salon legislative initiatives.
