Rep Power: 17 | Wasted Space :( Any suggestions?! I have a 2,500 sq. ft. building and its pretty narrow and worked out well for the tanning salon, but I did not want to over extend myself when opening so I only put 8 beds in and then figured I could add more beds in the future. Which I am glad I did-but now I have 400 sq. ft. of wasted space that I am paying for.I am have been trying to think of things that I could add to help pay for the unused/wasted space... I thought about selling various things- but i don't want to look like a flea market and the salon is upscale therefore so are the customers- The obivious would be to add nails/massage...but- I just feel like I might be missing something....any suggestions? Anyone have anything that they sell/offer that works well for them?

The salon we bought has 5 rooms with beds, one larger room in the front which is used for massage (At least for the moment, might but in a bed) and then about 400 sqft of open space between the lobby/reception area and the tanning area. It was once used to do nails before we bought it. It is basically empty except for a counter against the wall with sinks. My rent is cheap so wasted space is not a big issue, but if there is something I could do I'd love to hear it..... |
