Question WEIGHT LIMIT: HEARTLAND BEDS

I am wondering if anyone has a clue about weight limits for heartland tanning beds?

I have a customer who I normally airbrush , but would like to try tanning in my 6400, I havent asked but I believe she is slightly over 400lbs. I am wondering if that would be okay or if it could damage the acrylic.

Thanks!!!

I have a 6400 but I don't know the weight limit. I would call Heartland.

I'm trying to picture 400 lbs. I'm thinking you're guessing way to high!

Re: WEIGHT LIMIT: HEARTLAND BEDS

I had a customer who weighed 350, and I would only put him in the Big sportarredo Universe. Eileen may be right, this guy was about 6'5" and pretty fat, so I came straight out and asked him, rather lose a customer than shatter an acrylic. A woman of average hieght would have to be enormous to wiegh 400.

just for giggles, how many times did you have to fill the spray cup when you sprayed her, you had to run out a couple of times for all that surface area.

Re: WEIGHT LIMIT: HEARTLAND BEDS

Please dont be arrogant, guys! Weighing over 400lbs would be absolutely miserable... Some people at that weight cant even muster the confidence to leave the house. She is a good friend of mine and I have heard her talk about her weight before... I am certain she does not weigh under 400. I just wasnt sure of the exact number.

I want for her to be able to feel better about herself... the same way any other person uses tanning to feel good.... that is why I spray her, (regardless of the amount of solution I have to use.) It is nice to get a phone call the next day from an excited person who feels pretty and appreciative. All day I deal with pretentious women because of my demographics... and that is NOTHING to complain about, but as we all know... there is no wiggle room for showing our mood when we have a bad day. Its actually nice to have a genuinely good business relationship with a client and be sure that you are making a difference for them.

Thanks for your responses though, I appreciate the feedback!
Have a great weekend :)

Re: WEIGHT LIMIT: HEARTLAND BEDS

Well if she tanned at our salon we would put her in the Tanses THP 24/24. It has many metal strips for reinforcement and it might very well be the largest tanning bed made. I believe she is to heavy for any other bed that we have. The Matrix is large but it only holds up to 350 lbs. Have you checked the small print on the bed to see if the weight limit is posted? I've only ever known one person that weighed over 400 lbs and he used to have to go to the University to see how much he weighed.

Those fat azzes destroy beds. The bodybuilders too.If its so miserable to weigh 400 pounds, then maybe those people should do something about it,instead of looking for compassion or a discount because they can only utilize the "big beds".

Did they not have any mirrors in their house over the years.lol
