Rave 100APR vs Cosmolux VLR9K90 - tanTALK

Just wondering what you all thought about the rave. I know the cosmolux is a good lamp. I'm not sure which one to go with.

Rave is a PL of Light Source. The Signature Series could be compared to the 9k90 but not sure which Rave you are comparing.

They (heartland) just call it the Rave 100APR. I was told by a rep that it's comparable to the 9k90, but was just wondering if anyone has used it & if it really is comparable to the 9k90 & what your thoughts are. Thanks!

I think it is the 100w R based on the A-Power Technology. Good lamp should be very similiar to the 9K90.

if that's true then it'd be more of a 9K90TT than a 9K90.

the 9k90 is a 160 watt lamp and Heartland sells a comparable lamp for that which is the APR.I used them to replace some 9ks that I had in a UWE silver bullett and there is no comparsion IMO. Stick with 9ks.

Comes in 3 versions. I assume they were talking about the 100w since they were comparing it to a 100watt lamp...
