Rep Power: 0 | Mobile spray tan? I need advice, have questions. Hi all, I'm new to this site, so forgive me for being repetitive. I am considering starting a mobile airbrush tanning business. I have no experience with airbrush applications, but have received plenty personally. I have also found a company to train me as long as I buy their equipment at retail. Also, I want to put another twist on it, by offering a 4 hour and then shower solution , vs the typical 8 plus hour then shower solution . I am just curious as to what type of insurance I need. Also for those out there doing such business, how sucessful are you? What type of profits are you obtaining? ANY advice would be great. |

Most of the solutions I have tried tell you to wait 4 hrs minimum and up to 8 hrs depending on your skin type. Nothing unique there. I would call any one of the insurance companies mentioned on here and get quotes for mobile tannng. You also need to let your auto insurance know you'll be using your vehicle for work. We are having very good success with ours so far. My profits I don't share with anybody. :) My advice would be to do as much research as possible and don't make rash decisions if you have time use it and get as much information as possible. Also you might want to do a search on the member blondie on here, she just went through all this and you can follow her posts. :)

I checked them out along with a couple others, and they were by far the least expensive for the most coverage and lowest deductibles. I ended up purchasing the Fantasy Tan system and I'm quite happy with it. It works great for mobile, and they had a rep. fly to me to train me on how to use the system. I was comfortable spraying people after practicing just a couple times. I don't know how I would have even known where to start otherwise! One thing I will say is that I'm not thrilled with their aftercare items that come with the system. The packaging isn't that great, and it is expensive. I can get alot of other products for less $$ and they look alot better. If you have any questions, let me know! |
