Rep Power: 0 | salon building rent New to this! I have no salon experience;built a building and I have it leased out for $500.00 month.I pay all utilities. It has two chairs. I furnish all equipment-except supplies. My question how can I make more money? Currently I have it leased to a wonderful lady. Can she hire another chair and then I can make more off of that. We are in Texas. Also this lady will retire in a year. Should I go get my cosmo license myself? She said I could make more money that way. We are in a very small town, and I am the only salon. |

Rep Power: 46 | Re: salon building rent first $500 a month with utilities included seems way way to cheap. i guess that depends on the square footage and area u are in. but still seems very cheap. second if your renting this spot to a lady whos running a business, then how can you charge more just cause she added a chair. all the details and increases should be in the lease. third any job would make u more than $500 a month so yes u would make more if u did it yourself but why do that. just wait till shes retired then raise the rent to a affordable (for tenant) and profitable (for u) price. fourth this is mainly a Tanning Forum.
