The best airbrush tan system out there? - tanTALK

Hi! I am looking for the best airbrush tanning system to purchase. I will be mobile for awhile and will open a location eventually. I saw that the Norvell was popular on here, but the posts are old. So i there something newer and better? No offense! I am looking for HVLP/LVLP.

After researching many cosmetic tan units the only one that I could envision in an upscale, trendy salon was the Infinity Sun Spa... nothing else came close to its quality, user friendliness, or appearance. :)

Eileen, darling, do you know how much that Infinity sun cost? I am just starting out! Good lord! That is like $10k for the entire system. It better do more than tan me for that price! I'm looking in th $1500 or less range! lol

I too am purchasing an airbrush tanning system next month and have been told numerous times that the Norvell is very good and easy cleanup! Have you checked with your lotion supplier (like Four Seasons or National Tanning) for a discount? It never hurts to ask. Good luck.

You can do very well with an Apollo Whisper Mist or Paasche air gun. We do very well repeat business with the Paasche and my girlfriend uses Apollo and she too is very busy with sprays. So either they are the best or it doesn't matter. I personally see no reason to spend giants amount of money, I am doing this to make money for me not some manufacturer.

You said you were looking for the best. :) The best will almost always cost you more. The Infinity Sun "Spa" system is very easy to use and you don't need to spend 10K that is for the stationary unit. They have two smaller units you might have missed.

I bought a Cal tan machine, and when you take it apart, it is no more than a fancy box around a turbine pump. I am going to buy another for back up and mobile, and I found a company selling a pump and spray gun for under 500.00, add a silencing case for a little more and there you go.
