Tantracks is being UNPROFESSIONAL!

I am having a major problem with them that I though all should hear. That is why I am posting in the open forum where tantalkers that are thinking of opening a salon can learn how tantracks (nichesoft) treats it's customers.
Back in September, Rachel (the sales rep) sold me PC Charge pro to process my EFT's. I explained to her that I have a list of clients that process via credit, CHECKING AND SAVINGS. My credit card processor even spoke with her and told her the same thing (I even have a signed letter from him stating this) To make a long story short, the program can not process EFT's via checking and savings!! They refused to give me a refund even though I was mislead into buying a program that does not suit my needs, so I disputed it with my credit card.
Come to find out...THEY FROZE MY TECH SUPPORT THAT IS PAID TILL SEPT OF 2008. I can not access it at all. I tried getting Jeff (the owner) on the phone to resolve this and he "doesn't speak directly with customers" Samantha (a new sales rep) has tried to help but they only want to extend my tech support 2 years (I spent $440 on the program and tech support renewal is $200 per year so this is a bad deal) or they want to refund 1/2 my money!
MY TECH SUPPORT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS MATTER AND SHOULD NOT BE FROZEN!!

PC Charge does process checking and savings accounts. It's Tantrack that does not. It's my understanding that you can still process the eft's of clients using bank accounts but you have to do them directly in PC Charge.

PC Charge told me directly that you can not process RECURRING payments via checking and savings. You can process checks with a check number and you would have to manually enter it every month...that is not what I was told form tantracks and I have too many clients that process that way for me to have to do it each month!!

Ok, that makes sense. I just knew you could use PC Charge for bank accounts.

Sunlync is adding this funtion if you're looking to switch.

it ticks you off I'm sure, but I'd say your better off.
way less headaces w/out TT!!!
I will likely have to change softwear this year due to the stupid structure of TT.

Sunlync is adding the ability to eft from checking accounts? I use Sunlync and PC charge, they do talk to eachother when you process your eft from a credit card or debit card and most of my eft customers use either one but we have a few that want to use a checking account number and thats where it gets a little grey. We have to process it through the bank and wait for the deposit to see if any were rejected, if you have a rejection then its a whole new problem to find out who was rejected. I do have to say that Sunlync tech support is second to none and the software is amazing.

Just spoke with Samantha...She told me an analogy that Jeff used-basically someone bought a lotion and returns it empty, would I let them tan??
I told her, the correct analogy would be that I sold someone a hot lotion without explaining it properly, they tried it and returned it...AND YES I WOULD LET THEM RETURN IT because I messed up by not properly informing my client.
TO JEFF... I would rather talk directly with you, rather than thru your employees (although Samantha has been trying very hard to help). FEEL FREE TO CALL ME ON MY CELL AT ANYTIME 203-558-8777.

I KNOW EVERYONE IS GONNA DISAGREE WITH ME ON THIS. BUT THATS WHY I WILL NEVER HAVE EFT'S. I WILL NOT PAY SOME COMPANY TO GET MONEY FROM MY CUSTOMERS, WHEN I CAN DO IT FOR FREE!!!!! WE HAVE A PKG WHERE SET UP FEE IS $35 AND $20.00 PER MONTH, BUT NO EFT. THEY COME IN AND PAY EVERY 1ST OF THE MONTH AND IF THEY DON'T.... WE CANCEL THEIR MEMBERSHIP, AND TO RE-NEW THIS MM...THEY HAVE TO PAY SET UP FEE AGAIN. MY CUSTOMERS LOVE IT! THERE IS NO CONTRACT. IF YOU DON'T PAY...YOU DON'T TAN!!! THAT'S SIMPLE TO ME, SORRY. I UNDERSTAND OTHER SALON LOVE IT, BUT THIS WORKS GREAT WITH OUR SALON. I AM SICK OF SEEING ALL THESE "BIG WIGS" IN THE TANNING INDUSTRY TAKING OWNERS $$$$. WE WORK FOR IT NOT THEM.
