Ways to "jazz" up my walls

Hey guys,
Ok, so I'm bored of my painted walls, anyone have any funky ideas to jazz up my hallways? I looked on line for these funky retro wall decals but I don't want them to look cheesy. Any thoughts on this one?

I will get one, honestly, they are just plain blue-gray walls. I have a funky floor, tiled diff colors but need a change! Badly! I am curious about those wall decals though.

When in doubt -- stick with paint!

What about a stripe -- maybe a wide horizontal one about eye level - same color but a high gloss to provide some contrast?

A "pattern" of interlocking squares or circles or something -- again, maybe in bright colors, or maybe something more subtle. Can work your way down the hallway as you get time.

Hang pictures, framed posters, etc. Maybe a "theme" that fits with your salon -- like sunsets/sunrises ("Glow", tanning). Can find lots of neat metal "wall sculptures" - and no shortage of suns!

Add a chair rail and paint below the rail (or above) in a different color.

Thanks Sunsally,
I was thinking about big painted circles, squares etc in funky colors. The stripe is a good idea too! Just want to start the season off right. And Njtanner,I know engfant could do that too, maybe I should look him up!!
