you've been in it longer then I have :) 2 years next month. i enjoy the business tremendously mainly because i can still do what i love the most at the same time. i work in my office with computers and just oversee the salon. i'm always looking for better ways to be productive/efficient to. i have our employee schedule online, i'm starting an all new commission plan that'll be based on customer averages per hour per visit, i design and customize everything on the computer. btw check your email :)

Some salons do offer a certain mile radius. Puretan used too, and look at them now.

It would be nice to dream but doubt it will ever happen. They are out to make money just like the rest of us.. Find another way to set yourself apart! It does not say much about the new salon that they had to copy your set up.

Unfortunately, the disty are all the same. They will put a salon on ever corner with the same beds. Nothing you can do about it. They are hurting like we are, and them to there will be a few only standing. You can't think about that since your are in business just put you best foot forward and be the best you can be.

Looks like your not conversating with your bed rep enough... We got 6 locations right now all with Ergoline/ Soltron beds and a salon in a city bout 4 blocks away tried gettin a 850 like we have and they were shut down ;-) there's ways ta get what you want...

Do you guys remember when HP first started its hype years ago? Remember the big exclusive claus you had to sign when you bought a UltraBronze HP? We did and you know it really didn't stop anything...
We bought One Dr. Muller Omega HP back in the day at one location and put an UltraBronze HP in another...then we had to fight with the exclusive claus really didn't help us at all..Another one popped down the street and when we called..Disty. says we didn't sell that bed to that salon..sorry..

HP grew and everyone on the corner had one and then it became who can offer hp for less$ .99cents a tan..

my rep convienently no longer works w. sales ( i'm not sure if he even works with the company anymore). i have had nothing but problems with ergoline as far as customer service goes. its really upsetting to me because i love their equipment but when it comes time to add more equip. i'm not sure i'll be dealing with them anymore. i have expressed my disappoinment to them and basically was told "it is what it is" and they are right. now i will know for next time.

Nothing will stop them if they buy used. Ergoline can't say anything then. There would be not way around that.
