How can I deal with theft of lotions? - tanTALK

I have a salon here in Ontario. My husband was working short hours on the holiday Monday for me and he actually only had 2 people come in to tan. The one customer he was there at the front desk while she came in and when she left. The second customer brought someone in with her that waited for her while she tanned. During which time, my husband left this lady sitting at the front desk while he went to do something.
When I came in to the salon on Tuesday, I noticed that something was not right. I did an inventory check and I am missing 2 bottles of lotion. Both are expensive. Now I know that those bottles were there when I worked on Saturday, and we were closed on Sunday for Canada Day.
So I basically have figured out that the only person that could have taken the bottles was the lady that waited for her friend that was tanning.
How can I go about accusing her without actual proof?
I have posted on my front counter that I had 2 bottles stolen that day and we only had two clients in that day to tan, so I basically know who did it and if they could return them with no questions asked.....
Can I be in trouble if I phone this lady (I know who she is) and accuse her? I know she will just deny it anyways, but I don't want to do this if I can be in trouble....
Does anyone know?

Unfortunately, the camera did not pick it up (stupid thing).....All I could see was them leaving together, and it's hard to say something when I was not there myself, ya know?

Tell them you have footage of them taking the lotion and you can either return or it you will notify the authorities and press charges. See what they do. If they call your bluff let it go.

Well, I was considering that, but that is what I really wanted to know....Can I get in trouble for doing that? Can she go to the police or something saying that I accused her of theft if she didn't do it?
I don't want to get into trouble incase I do have the wrong person, even though I'm almost positive that this person did it.
