Question Graduation gifts??

Good afternoon to everyone, My husband and I were thinking of doing something for our graduates that have tanned with us thru their High School years. We were just wondering if anyone else did and what you give? What we were thinking of was a graduation card made by us with somewhere in the card saying that they have a $25.00 credit on their account to used by them how ever they wish. Just wanted to see if anyone else dose anything like this??

Re: Graduation gifts??

For prom we gave everyone that bought our prom package a gift bag with some assorted items in it, the kids loved it. For graduation I plan to do something similar for them. I was able to get a good deal on some goodies to fill bags with.

Re: Graduation gifts??

Never even thought about it, but what a nice idea! I have a graduate this year, so I'm stressing enough about getting gifts for all of HIS friends! But a credit on their accounts for the customers is easy, and nice - what wonderful word-of-mouth "advertising" that will get!

Gives them a reason to come back to visit you when they are home from college!

Think I might use that one - thanks!

Re: Graduation gifts??

I don't do credits on their accounts, I give them certificates for two weeks of unlimited tanning. This way you look good giving them something (valued at $20-$40 depending on your salon prices) but if they only use one tan out of it, it works out better for you, because afterall it's going to expire in two weeks! I find doing it this way, when they come back (always seems to be used at the two weeks of Christmas holidays) they're almost ALWAYS lost their lotion, so it's too easy to talk them into another bottle. So you get free word of mouth advertising, loyalty, a lotion sale, all for a max of about $5 cost to you.

Re: Graduation gifts??

Thank you for all you comments, the reason that I was going to put it on their account was because most of them still have memberships even after graduation, then they can use it for whatever, after all they have I feel earned it, they were loyal customers for their High School years (we are only giving it to the real loyal customers not to all the hoppers) If anyone has any really good suggestions please let me know.
