----Why does (Name Left Out) tanning have no 20-30 minute beds and have facials in all the tanning beds?

ANSWER:

Every human sheds (exfoliates) their outer layer of skin every 28 days. Tanning with normal UVB tanning beds accelerated this cycle to somewhere between 5 & 10 days. Also, in response to UVB, our outer layer of skin thickens as a natural barrier to further UVB exposure. It is this thickening that contributes to the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles.

High Pressure beds use mostly UVA light. This allows your skin to return to its normal 28 day exfoliation cycle. UVA also tans the 2nd layer of skin. When the outer layer exfoliates, you remain tan. UVA does not cause the outer layer of skin to thicken. High Pressure tanning may not contribute to fine-line wrinkles or premature aging as much as other tanning.

High Pressure bulbs increase the amount of energy that is released so that the tanning process is triggered in one-sixth the amount of time. Therefore, only three treatments within a 10 day period can give you a deep, healthy looking, natural tan that lasts a long time. Only one session every 3-4 days (depending on skin type) is necessary to remain tan!

The damage on you face and neck will equal if tanned one month on a 20 minute bed about 3 months of AGE showing on your face!!
Tan for 6 months average tanning client may equal to 18 months of age showing on your face.
The beds without facials cause broken veins on the face and deeper wrinkles. Some clients may also grow darker brown spots on the face. Covering the face with a towel will only block 6-8% (re smarttan.com) The small beds can not tan easily most of the clients regular size 12. Our tanning beds even Level One are large and very comforatable.
Also clients must tan 3-4 times a week at 20 minutes to equal 2 tans a week in our 12 minute bed.
