Rep Power: 0 | Puretan?!!! Sorry for starting a new thread on this, but the others were clouded with personal banter between individuals. This is too serious for those of us caught in this to allow the focus to be blurred. I bought my first Puretan beds in 2002, I liked them enough that I own 32 now. I ordered 11 back in December. Brandon Howell asked if I would approve a prepay from the leasing company, if the leasing company approved, and they did, so I did. This company has done a lot of leases with Puretan. Puretan received their funds back in the middle of December. The contractual arrangement between Brandon and me was they were to be ready by January 15. Brandon, and Puretan's owner Steve Cantrell, agreed to this. They cashed the check. It is February 23. Brandon has lied to me for three weeks now, saying the beds would be ready whenever I needed them, but never shipping them. Long story short, Cantrell finally called me back on Tuesday and said it would be at least until March 9 until I would see them, most likely later than that (the same routine about waiting on "structural tee's"). For the last three days, when you call their facility, no one is answering the phone. Can you help in any capacity? Are they going out of business, or just avoiding people until they can ship beds?. This is now critical for me, as these 11 beds are half of my new store. I am in a bad way now. Thanks for any help you can offer. Jeff Mills 317-627-1633 |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Puretan?!!! I know Puretan is reading this. Brandon and Steve, be men and face the music. Do the right thing. Answer your accusers. Your silence in only condemning you. You promised that delivery would not be an issue before I sent you the check. You know how critical the delivery time is. You are killing me. Worse, you have taken a trusted, well known, leasing company for a ride. If you want to recover from this, do the right thing. I don't care if you have to sell your house, do the right thing. There is still time, but not if you don't return funds to the people you made promises to in short order. Do the right thing. Call me. You have my number. Jeff Mills |

Rep Power: 20 | Re: Puretan?!!! Good luck with your Puretan beds. I placed my order Oct 1 and they were to be delivered 45 days later. Guess what no beds 45 days later, 60 days later, 90 days later, or 105 days later. After the 3 1/2 month delay, I cancelled my beds. Told me I couldn't, well guess what i did and disputed my CC charges and received all money refunded becuase according to Amex, Puretan did not abided by their contract. Remind you these beds were going into my new, second location and they caused a 45 delay in opening due to their $hit. I got tired of hearing 1 more week, etc. So I took matters in my own hands. My first salon is puretan exclusive with the exception of my Magic 636 and Mystic. I bought 9 beds from them in 99 and 00 and did not have any problems, but now the company has gone to $hit with customer service, etc. Brandon and Steve were also the ones that I was dealing with.

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Puretan?!!! A friend went by their shop today. Their is a sign in the window that says "closed for remodeling". We can only hope that puretan is just buying time, but even then, they have screwed up people's lives with their lies and 6 months delays. New store owners plan their schedule around what puretan told them. This is intentional fraud. Allow me to share the tip of the iceberg I have now ran into. I just learned all this today. I just started this process, and I am now aware of 5 other people who have been waiting as long as last August for their beds. They know others I don't know. It just grows exponentially. My leasing company indicated they have more than a couple of leases pending with Puretan. This is building so fast, I believe we will find there is hundreds of thousands of dollars, perhaps millions, they have collected in the past year, FULLY KNOWING THEY WOULD NOT DELIVER!! Now I have also learned we all have heard the same message- "pay up front so we can guarantee your delivery date, and give you a cash discount". They even snowed my leasing company into paying up front. They have the schtick down pat. One lady in Ohio will probably lose her entire investment in her store, now that she has no more money to buy beds for her built out store. She is ruined personally. All of us are damaged badly. While Steve cashes checks, and his sales people make up to six figures a year. They are all in on this. STEVE CANTELL AND HIS SALESMEN ARE LITERALLY RUINGING PEOPLE'S LIVES! This is a ponzi scheme. Please Steve and Brandon, come on here, and explain how this is just a misunderstanding and a customer service issue. If I get my beds by next week, or you return the money, I will eat my words and apologize. Do the right thing. Be men, not scumbags. You still have time to turn this around |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Puretan?!!! I spoke to Brandon after being contacted and told him he is more then welcome to respond to these posts. I veified a few of these complaints but we are having way to many now if this is all true common decent thing to do would be for them to reply to these posts. I also tried to contacted them yesterday and today about this and there was no answer. |
