Rep Power: 0 | How to start off tanning Hello everyone, I'm trying to get ready for Spring Break and have right at a month to at least help get some color so I don't burn and am looking for some advice here. I'm a Type III skin type I believe. I started today using this bed: Summer 75 Unit 36 Lamp Unit 160 Watt Lamps Top Canopy 100 Watt Bottom Canopy Radio/Cassette within unit User friendly customer control panel 20 min max FACIALS: This unit is high in UVA for immediate oxidatine of pigmentation (browning effect) with a mixture of UBV. Started out using 8mins from the salon and bought a cheap lotion there since mine hasn't come in yet. I used FIJI NOIR today, but am awaiting the Tao and Vanishing Act face lotion to come in. What i'm curious to know is how should I go about getting the best tan results in the limited time I have. I've read when first starting out do back to back sessions, then hold it to 3 days a week or so. Can someone offer me some advice to help get me going? |

Sometimes those labels are conservative, but if you have not tanned for sometime, it might be wise to abide by it. Also, if the equipment that you are tanning has been maintained properly, ie...lamps changed when needed, you may want to abide by the label. Start low, better safe than sorry.....
