Customers—even bad ones—are our best loyalty teachers. In fact, the lessons gleaned from "problem" customers are often rich and long-lasting.

I have a lady that comes in year round and is NEVER happy, never upgrades and gets mad if something is not available, but day after day, she keeps coming back in. The crazy thing is she is sweet as pie to me and to my employees as nasty as can be, so I am never given the opportunity to talk to her about her issues, or why she contiunes to come in. Maybe I shouldn't, could be that is the way she likes to live her life. Plus she is really, really ugly.

She is. I call her the ugliest lady in the universe. She has that white raibies looking foam on the side of her mouth and her hair is as big and wild and dry as a witch. But she is nice to me. Just not nice to anybody else.

Put "Manager" tags, on employees and then see if she changes her attitude... LOL

I too have acustomer that is sweet as pie to me and is always rude and mean to everyone else. funny why they do that?

I have them rude until they realize the 22 year behind the counter is the owner then they turn sweet wierd like they feel superior to the workers but equal with the owners...

Isn't that strange how people do that? Snarl at the employees and treat the owner like gold. It changes my opinion of them when I find out they are that way.

This Happens to me too.. it also happens when they find out the art work on the walls is mine. I hate people like that.. blech.
