Rep Power: 0 | Weight Watchers Ok, we've talked about weight loss alot in the past and i'm sitting around here thinking and it hurts lol To make a long story short i've lost about 100 pounds on my own and ideally would like to lose about 10-15 more, but I haven't lost any for a couple of months now, just maintaining. I've thought about signing up for the Weight Watchers online. Anybody doing/done this? I hate the thought of counting points and stuff, but I read on the website where they have new and different plans I think. |

Rep Power: 35 | Re: Weight Watchers Have you ever tried cutting out sugar (carbs) for 2 weeks? After the first 3 days it's pretty easy. Try only eating things with 5 grams or less of sugar. You can try 2 grams or less if you are disciplined enough. If you decide to try it I can give you some tips of which foods to keep on hand to make it easier. :) |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Weight Watchers I'm a big diet coke drinker and sweet tea, i'm sure if I cut those out I might lose it, but ahem I wouldn't be able to function lol I've obviously changed my diet/exercise habits since weighing 100 pounds more than I do now, just ideally i'd like to drop a few more. Just gets harder once you've lost all that. |

Rep Power: 28 | Re: Weight Watchers i am not sure if it is weight watchers or not... what is the one where you can "count points"? you can get it online and the plan comes with a huge book with all the points for different foods, different fast foods, and the staples that you probably already have on hand. my cousin did it, and lost a lot of weight. she didn't go to meetings though, she just did it with their start up package. and then i have two aunts that are doing "L.A. weight loss" and are dropping inches left and right. one is doing it through them directly with weigh ins and buying their foods and supplements. the other is doing it just by photocopying the others meal plans and tips and such. the only problem i have with them is that one aunt is already at 90 pounds and she has nothing left to loose and they are keeping her going. i don't think that is wise!

I tried LA weight loss a loooong time ago and I couldn't handle it, you had to eat certain foods and eat those bars, and I wasn't disciplined enough. I've just learned how to eat less, and exercise my butt off. I like the idea of weight watchers b/c you can eat all foods, just less of it and such |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Weight Watchers I've just been having a hard time balancing it all. For a year now I have done 3-4 times a week on the elliptical 1 hour, and then 2-3 times a week 45 mins on the Yoga ball with different strength exercises. It seems like on days that i eat less and exercise more than I end up gaining a pound or two, and then like aroudn Christmas time I ate my weight in cookies, candies, etc, and didn't exercise for about 3 days b/c I was sick, and then I ended up losing a pound. wth |
