I have a ton of tiny, flat moles all over my body and keep developing more. I've had them checked out by a dermatologist and they're call benign, but I keep getting more where the sunlight hits. Needless to say, I can't sit outside and get a tan because I'll get more. But being a bodybuilder, your body looks oh so much better with a tan.

Does anyone else have this problem of not being able to tan because of fear of moles/skin cancer? I tan pretty easily, it's just that I don't like to because of getting more tiny brown moles. I have to wear an SPF to prevent the moles...and sad to say the SPF prevents a tan.

I've heard of sunless tanners, but I'm not too crazy of wearing a tan all year round. Plus you can't wear a sunless tanner and an SPF lotion at the same time, right? If I'm just using a sunless tanner and no SPF I'll get more moles.

Anyway, I'm hoping there's others in the same boat and can offer advice. It just sucks because I'm working so hard to get a good body and it just won't look as good because of being pale.

Any help?

i get these tiny FLAT mole type things on parts of my body not WHEN i tan, but when i OVER TAN. If i get too much exposure i get them on my back and my upper stomache... they go away when i stop tanning or if i stop, let them go away and then start up slowly.

do you have to look tan all year long... or just for competitions? if it is once in a while you could get airbrushed.

Again, Sunless, no matter the application doesn't look good with blemishes of any kind. I have freckles and hyper-pigmentation, and Sunless doesn't complement them at all.

I'm the same, I get them if I over tan but I also have tons of regular freckles on my shoulders and upper chest.

Me too Gidget, hopefully everyones freckles don't catch up and mesh together we would be out of business. I used to wish all my freckles would just blend I would always be tan (shoulders and chest). i don't wish that anymore, since I am now in this indusrty.

boobop that's funny, cause I have clients that come in to spray just to hide the uneven pigement and say it works great. Maybe it's different than what you're talking about? I think it might be worth at least trying a spray, but do it when you don't have a competition in case you don't like it.

yeah, i get people that come in all the time to blend in the uneveness of their skin... i always tell them that it won't make it look even, but they do it and they like the results. i guess it just depends on what you are looking for!

i am soooo glad i am not alone on the "bumps" gidget!

ooh... also i have some women that come in for the norvell spray because it has helped them with their acne... yeah, helped them! crazy!
