I dropped my cell phone in water today.

And it broke.

epressed So I go to get the same phone I got 5 months ago which I really liked and they no longer make it. So I get another phone which has made my day miserable and I hate.

This POS is going back tommrow and you have no idea what it has done to me mentally.:sick:

FYI: I do play with a full deck and my elevator does go all the way up it's just the phone has really got to me. My old phone and I were one and now we are no longer and I feel as if I lost my phone.

I feel your pain. Thats the way that I felt when my daughter threw my cell in the toilet. I replaced it with a "shaving device" wink wink. I hate my new phone.

What did you get Matt? I had a Motorola Q and it was OK, when it worked. I went through 3 of them trying to get one that wouldn't lock up. I just switched to a Treo. It is taking some getting used to, but haven't had it screw up in the 2 weeks that I've had it.

I'm not sure if they make a good cell phone anymore
I had to replace my cell last week and was talked in to a LG8300 POS keeps loosing sync with my blue tooth.
Back to verizon today!

Best phone I ever had was the old Motorola Star-tac had 185,000 minutes on that phone and never had a problem other than replacing the battery once.

yep. I think if Motorola would go back to an updated star-tac, they would gain back some of the market share they have been losing lately.

Don't care about the music,camera,web or any of the other crap

I have a digital camera and a wireless card for my laptop
My last phone was a Motorola V710 and had to replace that POS about 8 times in two years

I like having a camera on the phone and, I haven't used it yet, but I have my Treo set up to work as a modem for my laptop. I like all the bells and whistles but not if it doesn't work properly.

Matt, we have a place here called Wireless World. They purchase old phones from cell companies, as well as stock new phones. People trade in phones all the time. You might find your 'friendly' phone at a place like this.
