Rep Power: 21 | Spam Cheese and Bread Before I ruffle any feathers being the rebal cowgirl that I am ahh hemm.... I have read on a few post that involved alot of what was considered spam and from that notion I was plagued with ethical thought....... Honestly I agree pyrmaid schemes and so on are crazy and lotion distributors that lie are too but what if a fellow salon owners spouse owns a company that could save us money shouldnt we be open to it?? Say they can set up websites for half the price of this wise guy down the road wouldn't you like to know???? As long as it is upfront about their affilation?? Would Networking for my second business on here be considered spam?? I wouldn't be asking for anyone to join a program, I wouldn't be selling anything, no cost, its just making contacts through your contacts..... I guess in lame terms I want to know how far the boundaries can be pushed before it is demmed as the dreaded :::SPAMMING:::: I hate spam as much as anybody unless its on bread with some cheese and then baked... Spam sandwich yum...... |

Rep Power: 25 | Re: Spam Cheese and Bread I'm no mod, but in my opinion, when you are a salon owner and have already established yourself here as a participant, then offering information up like that should be encouraged! For example, I have recommended a guy for postcards before (like your husband). He is who I use, but he is also my business partner's brother. So, I'm not getting any "kickback" or money from sending him business, but I legitimately think he is good, and leave it up to salon owners to call him, check prices, see examples of his work and decide for themselves. No harm no foul. Agree? Disagree? |
