Has anyone ever hosted a swimsuit pageant for your salon? If so, was is simple to organize and how much income and publicity did you recieve?

What is ODM????? Oh, the purpose would be $$$$$$ of course. 100 Contestants, $50 applications fees, Sponsors, free media attention. Biggest one= biggest event of all other salons in my area! I know we are gonna have to spend some money but it can work, I just want other inputs.

I assume your city is like mine. Why would people pay to be in your contest when there are 2 or 3 free ones every week that pay money.

There's not any of those around here. You always have to pay an entry fee or application fee. If they want to be in the most photogenic competition it is an extra $10. Winner receives $1000 cash, crown, sash, gift certificates from all over, one year free tanning, and The title. I would pay 25 or 50 bucks to win all that. Thats is how most pageants work.

i guess any kind of promotion is good ,this sounds as good as any, will get things going for you,more attention=more sales , good move
