Uusally, tho I try to say no. I think its not so great for the owner to take a tip. O! This reminds me... I have a policy (not a beloved one, but I think its ok) to let people use the bathrooms -- people off the streets who just need a toilet -- provided they aren't too shady looking. (then I say its out of order) So my assistant let a guy use it the other day and he gave her $2!!! And we joked that now we finally have a service that makes money, haha! |

Rep Power: 24 | Re: Tip Jars I'll answer my own question. I had a customer who was always late for his appointments but I would squeeze him in anyway (this was during busy season,) one day he paid for an upgrade and had $3 in change coming but he insisted I take it for being so good to him. I tried to tell him it wasn't necessary but he kept insisting so I accepted with a thank you.

Rep Power: 24 | Re: Tip Jars Glo, that's kind of what I was thinking. We offer a personal service and also clean up after that service. I'm not saying I want to implement a tip jar by any means, I was just curious about the idea and figured I'd do a poll to see what the general consensus is/was.
