Question washer and dryer

Unfortunately my washer and dryer broke recently so I am looking for a new laundry center. I was just curious to see how many of you had your own washer and dryer or used an outside service (home, laundromat, service) to do your towels. I am torn, I dont know what kind of washer and dryer to purchase, I was going to get a stackable unit by kenmore like I had which broke but now have found a seperate washer and dryer which is stackable by frigidare which is a "heavy duty" that will run me about the same in price. Any input is appreciated if any of you have had experience with either of these companies.

Re: washer and dryer

I got the industrial stackable as well and I love it. I am so happy with the whole setup. I had a spare washroom, so I put in a tub sink, had it rewired for the new equipment and a vent installed. I LOVE IT!

Re: washer and dryer

We've been using a Whirlpool stack unit for the last 2 years with no problems.

Pick what you want at home, buy them, bring the ones at home to your place, write them off.

Re: washer and dryer

Whatever you do, don't buy the whirlpool Duet washer/dryer. They suck. I find myself picking hair off the towels that the machine didn't manage to wash away.
