Cell phone dealer in Tanning Salon? - tanTALK

I was thinking of starting to be a dealer for a cell phone company. Is anyone doing this? Pros or Cons.

Well I have alot of space in the lobby and I can setup something nice. I have alot of young clients and now a days everyone wants a cell phone.

People go to tanning salons to tan, not to buy cell phones, IMO. On really busy days, how are you going to negotiate a cell phone plan with the heat of the beds, and clients coming in and out?

it could work in a big enough salon with dedicated employees for each.....it works for movies why not cell phones....beside those cell phone stores are very tiny alone. i think accessories would be a good seller.

I was in a salon in michigan a lil while ago that sold cell phones.. it looked like it was working for them.

the salons in michigan that have cell phones generally use tanning as a second income. I know most of them, they are arabs. Most women are uncomfortable to tan in their salons. They just do ok with the phones and below average with the tanning. Grass always looks GREENER!

Add a season-less service instead of other retail ideas, they lessen your main focus.
