So is the UVA/UVB in a ergoline with velocity plus bulbs (hypothetical) different then a ETS with velocity plus bulbs? A bulb is a bulb as long as it is within its hours? Or is it the bulb choice vs the bed choice?

Re: can i get some profesional answers about my beds

Hmmmmm, I have 1 of those POS ETS beds you have and despite the fact it is a POS, people do get some color in it, and a few very, very pale people get burned in it.

I'm brand new to the biz too, but I'll advise you to get a professional out to look at the beds, check the wiring. Might be that they are running at a lower voltage than they should be? Or might be I have no clue what I'm talking about...

But Derf is right (and very very sexy), you need to replace those crappers ASAP before word gets out that no one gets color in your salon...

The Ergoline may actually tan worse.

Re: can i get some profesional answers about my beds

First you don't want your customers to burn. Yes the ETS equipment isn't the greatest in the world but they should still tan. You need to check to see what your voltage is. Run them around 225-230 volts. If you are below 220 you aren't going to be getting good results. Also what are you using to clean your acrylics?

I clean mine with Crisco. makes them shine really good. Also helps customers with moisturizing.
