With a remote package you recieve so many commercials, live reviews, free food for clients, giveaways from the radio staion and so on. We decided to call it customer appretiation day and offer yearly specials and product specials all day. The catch is, from 1pm to 3 pm they could buy yearly packages at a rediculously low price. It worked! Our normal daily income at the time ( middle of busy season ) was between 900 to 1300. From the hours of 1 to 3 we pulled in over 5K. Sounds crazy huh? We spent a little over 900 for the radio staion so it paid for itself. I highly recommend this marketing gig to everyone. We sold alomst 30 Packages in two hours. |

I say either do a free tan day or do something like $1 tans for the day and have ridiculous specials running and some lotion incentive weather it be reduced bottles or 1/2 price packets or something. I am thinking about doing something like this around labor day to get people back after summer. Try mass mailings too they seem to work, the postcard size to every client you have in your database.

It helped only offering certain thing in a small time frame. Our goal was to see how many people we could get crammed in the salon at one time. Having that many people lined up gave not only the employees but the clients as well a rush of excitment. Another thing that has worked great for us is being on myspace. We run specials on the bulliten and they have to befriend us and check our page for specials. Only people that join your list can see these specails work. Best thing about MySpace......IT'S FREE ADVERTISING! |
