SUNCAPSULE ADVICE??? - tanTALK

Question for any of you suncapsule fans out there im looking at purchasing 7 min super sonic and a factory referb. sonic 48 lamp 160 12 min exposure. Question is whats any of your feelings about the two machines, tanning results, reliability, profit potenial and last but not least whats a fair price for these units i have been quoted prices and i just would like to get a feel for the market from the consumer- salon owners point of view. Also whats a fair market value for a 1997 perfect 10 it has 950 hrs and about 480 hours on it vhr tt's in , it is in great shape except for a few scratches on the door.

1997 Perfect 10 is worth about $1500-$2000.

I always find it interesting when I see units that are 9 yrs old and only have 950 hrs on them. Or other such claims. Is this after the refirb.?

No sir on the refirb, found it on ebay private owner claimed to have purchased it new, and it had 938 on it when i got it back in december, is there anyway of telling if it was refirbished, only thing I was missled on was i found it on ebay stated as a 99 model but the serial tag said otherwise

Also to add, the hour meter does not look newer like it may have been replaced it shows age like the rest of the unit no evidence of tampering and the guy i bought it from seemed to me like someone who would not know anything about the inner guts of tanning equipment

does a refirb decrease its value?? whats the difference if its refirbed or not if its in the same shape as if it was purchased new and had 950?

the suncapsule perfect 10's are workhorses. if you have a chance get feedback from folks who have been tanning in the actual unit
opt for a money back guarantee, maybe 30 days, and test drive it yourself

people love the machine but its folkstone grey kinda out date in looks, and my place is brand new so it kinda sticks out like a sore thumb just want updated an machine

I wouldn't think a refirb would decrease the value, but should hold it steady if not increase it over a unit of the same age that is not.
