Re: New to TanTalk

Not trying to start anything, but think about this.

If you are having problems with getting the tingle lotion off of the acrylic, why would you think that you are getting the regular lotion off either? How would you know?

I only know that I'm using the recommended products by the tanning distributors and using dry, clean towels.....so I can only go on faith that the products are doing their job...that and I haven't had any other reported problems from lack of sanitized beds.......doesn't sound like I'm the only one having the tingle problem though so maybe switching to a different product like CalCare will help.

Re: New to TanTalk

Yes I would switch to cal care and see if that helps, like I said we have to clean them twice just to be on the safe side, espeically with the really hot tingles, safire, unforgiven. Also make sure you are making the solution properly and that you are spraying enough on the acrylic.

Re: New to TanTalk

We have found that spraying the Cal-Care on and letting it set for a few minutes before wiping off helps break down the tingle and removes it better.

Re: New to TanTalk

an easy way would just be to clean the bed and then go over it one more time although that would be wasteful and expensive

Re: New to TanTalk

I don't find thorougly cleaning a bed twice being wasteful at all, the gallons of that stuff is not that expesive and it lasts forever. Better safe than sorry imo

Re: New to TanTalk

I do like some others here, tons of Lucasol, wipe it down, spray again, NEW TOWEL, wipe again. Remember to keep folding the towel around -- or use several -- so you aren't re-depositing it.

After cleaning it, glide your fingers over the surface. If there is any invisible residue, you can usually feel it!
