George Alan Moore Jr. has also threatened lawsuits over Spam Reaper's hosting of Frankie's page. winning mention in the spammer threats section and due to such threats and other actions, he also wins the cherished place in the archives as April '03 Spammer of the Month.
You may know Moore as "Dr. Fatburn". Even if not familiar with that name, you have undoubtably seen many of his spams peddling Symantec Software which Symantec says is pirated and possibly even infected with trojans.

In two telephone calls (so far)(3-28-03, and 3-29-03) he has made many threats of legal action for such things as printing whois data identifying his relationship to the domains used in the spams and for use of the photo on the pages which he first claimed is his and then that it belongs to the photographer. The photo actually is the property of the publisher, in this case which ever page it came from. Use in this manney clearly falls uner the fair use doctrine and the obviously altered one above most definitely qualifies as parody. None the less, should the owner of the photo object, they will be removed on request.

Moore claims that exposing him is somehow inciting violace or harrassment of him. If that's the case, then obviously no newspaper could ever run a negative story regarding anyone. Yes, the stories about Moore, like any spammer, are certianly negative. But no on is inciting anyone to do anything other that block his spams and protect their networks and computers from his abuse by refusing to peer with him. Illegal? Obviously not, and even Moore knows it.

All the data published in the various pages all over the internet exposing Moore and his spamming operations was gathered via public sources and databases accessable by the general public. None of the information is illegal to possess or to publish in any state.

Someone has posted to news.admin.net-abuse.email anonymously under the name "Ms Law Student" claiming to be a law student in California. "She" just happens to have the same IP address as Moore who refers to his apparently nameless fictitious lawyer as "she".
This fact is documented easily by comparing the headers of "her" usenet poststo the logs of the website when Moore accessed it. No one else had EVER accessed the files he accessed and that he referred to in the same telephone conversation where he made his threats.
