Rep Power: 0 | Looking for Advice Please Hi, I have been tanning since the end of May. I go 3 times a week. I have been using Swedish Beauty dark tanning lotion and also every week or so, I use a new package of lotion - trial size. Mostly sweedish Beauty or Australian Gold because that is what my salon carries. I have dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and fair skin that frekles. Not big nasty freckles but alot of tiny ones on my arms and face. Although I do not tan my face in the beds because I do not like the freckles on my face, so I just use sunless tanner for my face with my daily make up routine. I do not like to use sunless tanner anywhere else because I find it too streaky. On my face it doesn't really do that because it is a smaller area. Ok - background. I never burn. I have never had a burn in my life. But at the same time I have a hard time building a tan, getting dark and keeping a tan. Right now I do not tan outside. If I go outside I use sunscreen. So my color is coming from the 3 trips to the bed per week. Ok right now I am probably the color of shakira in her hips don't lie video. Kinda light brown...I am usually the color of say Nicole Kidman or Scarlett Johanssen if I do not tan. Where I would like to go with my color is say Eva Longoria...Can I get this color or have I hit as dark as I am going to get? I went to my friends house last night and her and my other friend are blue eyed blonds and they are twice as dark as me with only 8 sessions!!! I have probably had close to 20 or more.... So my question is what can I do to break my plateau? Should I get a new lotion? I do not like tingles...Any swedish beauty products better? Should I exfoliate before I go to the salon? Should I step up the number of sessions? Right now I do 20 mins in the 20 min bed and 7 mins in the standup. Both beds are new beds - ie less than 2 years, and they recently had their bulbs changed..... thanks, Cara |
