Rep Power: 0 | BUYER BEWARE (cont) well today is tuesday may 30 and i finally received the box from VO Remarketing only 26 days after the tanning unit arrived and about 2 weeks after Dusty at VO found the parts. READY FOR THIS: ITS NOT THE PARTS I NEED! here is a list of what was needed and what i actually got: 1.) all of the nuts, bolts and washers that hold the unit together. -received some of the allen bolts, washers and cap nuts, as well as parts for MT3000 and mine is a MT3500 2.) exhuast duct -received it 3.) 2 Metal frame strips -wrong parts, about 8" too short, made for another type of booth. 4.) 1 L bracket -did not receive 5.) all of the door hardware to hang the door -did not receive 6.) 2 plastic discs for the front poles -received almost 2 weeks ago from magic tan parts damaged: 1.) the main front acrylic was placed at the bottom of the pallet under everything else so it is badly scratched - has not been replaced 2.) exhuast basin is broken -received almost 2 weeks ago from magic tan 3.) top and base are badly scratched - did not replace yet. dusty and VO Remarketing are really "on top of it" as someone posted in the other thread. i have already contacted magic tan and they have been helpfull. this is in no way a complaint about magic tan corp. i called dusty and as has been the case all along there is no sense of urgency or caring at all. he cant seem to understand why i am so upset. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: BUYER BEWARE (cont) much more professional to collect $13,000 dollars and send out equipment that still doesnt work and is still missing parts 5 weeks later. i kept my cool for several weeks of your incompetance. i dont want to fight over the phone i dont even want to be mad, i just want you to have overnight shipped the parts from magic tan over 3 weeks ago like YOU SAID YOU WOULD. i guess there is not alot of weight to your words. i would solved the customer problem with 24-48 hours not 4-5 weeks for my customers. do what you say your going to do and people wont question your competance or integrity. i never called you names, i did question your competance, honesty and integrity. |

Rep Power: 25 | Re: BUYER BEWARE (cont) This is why used equipment vendors make people nervous -- they expect every transaction will go like this one. The bottom line is -- the customer is always right. If someone comes in my salon upset about something, even if maybe they are somewhat part of the problem -- I grin and make them happy. Beachntan is upset, sounds like they have reason to be upset -- and Dustin seems to be giving the ol' "F you" because he doesn't like his attitude. Just ship him the dang parts - overnight - at your cost -- and be done with it! Whether it is the freight company's fault, your fault, or someone elses. He's happy, and you probably STILL make money on the sale -- and don't have to spend a month dealing with an irate customer and escalating it to the point of a public airing! |
