Rep Power: 21 | Dumb Question about Mystic Solution Alright, since I have had my Mystic I have always ran the premium myst with the bronzers, today Ups will be delivering the premium clear, how do the rest of you transfer over solution in the mystic? I have heard of running water through it to flush the other solution out, running a couple of level 3s? what is the best method to do this. Thank you. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Dumb Question about Mystic Solution lol Put the clear in and run two maybe 3 sessions at most that is all you have to do. The line pretty much sucks it all through after 2 or 3 sessions. Do you have the Multi Myst option if not I would stick with the bronzer. |

Rep Power: 21 | Re: Dumb Question about Mystic Solution Right on, thank you Matt. I do not have the Multi Myst but wanted to give this one a try, I have spoken with some of my regular Mystic clients and they are very eager to try it. It is worth a try, the cosmetic is just a mess and rinses off their first shower anyhow. I only purchased one drum so if it does not work out, I can easily bring back the bronzer. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Dumb Question about Mystic Solution I didnt like the clear solution . I found that it wasnt consistant. Sometimes it would make people blotchy or spot. We use the bronzer solution , and we dont have that problem. I dont know if becuase it was clear, people couldnt tell if they were wiping it off good or what. Maybe that caused them to be splotchy. |

Rep Power: 20 | Re: Dumb Question about Mystic Solution ^^i disagree... in my years in the tanning business i have always preferred clear... in fact most clients now want the clear because i have gotten them to try it. i have found less chance of streaks down the legs (because its clear) which a lot of clients complain about if they don't towel off fast enough, it looks better, and it is less blotchy... i'm glad you gave it a try. keep us updated, i'm sure that clients are going to LOVE it! |

Rep Power: 25 | Re: Dumb Question about Mystic Solution I agree -- stick the plunger in the new bucket, when the bronzer finishes running through, the next batches will be clear. I don't think there is any need to waste the end of the one jug. We also have exclusively used the premium with bronzer since opening and also just ordered our first jug of the clear. All the same reasons Riverbrat expressed, as well as the horrific mess it makes in the room, no matter HOW much you clean and how quickly you spray down the booth! We advise them to towel off well anyway, so I'm not anticipating any problems with blotchy results. It is the EXACT same stuff, without the mess to rub off on your clothes, sheets, washcloths and everything else! I'll keep you posted -- we're probably less than a week from switching over at the current rate of sprays! Business has been strong! |

Rep Power: 21 | Re: Dumb Question about Mystic Solution So I scrubbed the room got rid of the bronzer, scrubbed the booth, and I did my first session in the clear. LOVED IT. I had a couple of clients try it and when they came out there was no smell, the towel was not brown, it was nice. We decided to do a promotion introducing the clear solution , and tonight we have had 4 clients upgrade to the mystic to try it out. Many of my client expressed the smell is what kept them from doing it, well hey now it might stir a little excitement. I think I made a great decision. It just seems soooo much cleaner. :) I think also because it is clear when we explain to the client that there is no tint so you need to really towel off from head to toe, I think they will get a better aplication, because some see the tint and they think if they leave the excess on it wil ldevelop darker no matter how much you tell them to scrub. Will keep everyone posted on the results and customers comments. So far personally I am quite pleased with my application. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Dumb Question about Mystic Solution I don't own a Mystic but I do own a Magic tan and I run warm water everytime I change out to a new pale. Also Magic sells a 3 gal of rinse solution designed to clean out your hoses and nozzels. This pale of cleaning solution will last me over a year and it's only $60.00 from Magic. As for clear solution , I woud Never use it myself. You can't see it and this makes it hard to fix any mistakes that could or can happend from stupid people. I use a solution with a double shot of bronzer, this gives my spray tanner the feeling of instant tan and you can see any area that they may of missed by not standing right. Riviera Tan Man |

Rep Power: 103 | Re: Dumb Question about Mystic Solution I have used clear solution for handheld spraying. I liked it well enough. You have to be good to spray it without missing any places. My question is, even though you don't see the overspray, isn't it still there? Just because it isn't brown, doesn't mean it isn't fogging all over the place. If it is, the stuff is still sticky and still a breeding ground for bacteria. It will start to stink after a few days.
