More dramatic that way I think. Sandigirl, they don't have anything on the back I write on a sticker and place it on the back myself with my signature on it. And then I log the card in my trusty little book and wait for the redemtion.

In the corps we had a saying: "A locked locker keeps honest Marines honest." It was a target of opportunity. How many salon owners out there would pay for security consulting? I'm talking grounds, employees, etc?

You really do not want to loose a couple of customers, given the benefit of doubt lets say they thought it was just a card made available to them and picked it up. Regardless it would be much better to simply point out to each of these individuals that you had new gift cards for sale, and that they were of no value unless you activated them. Probably they would just throw away the card which is worth nothing, you would keep a good customer, and all is well that ends well. The police would do absolutely nothing anyway, you would loose business, make enemies, gain nothing. I always try to think business first, ego last. |
