Rep Power: 0 | Salons ignoring state regulations :shy: I recently purchased the tanning salon I've used for the past nine years. My eyes were really opened to all the requirements and competition related to the business! My question is: there is at least one salon nearby that employs underage staff (the state requires that you by 18 and certified) and allows underage tanners (no one under 13 may tan without a doctor's order - this has been in place since 2004). What would you do? I certainly don't want to cause ill feelings but this is illegal. Should I keep my mouth shut and just continue to run my business in the best way possible. Thanks for any help. |

Your fellow man at large? If so, then you should act. If not, then I wouldn't do anything in this regard. Good luck. -Belvy

I agree your main focus should be on executing your business plan, but these people should be reported to the state regulators because they give all tanning a bad name, that takes money out of your pocket and my pocket. You will be asked to do it in writing, contact info at http://www.ncradiation.net/ Frank SunFocus |

Take a clue from South Carolina. Quit worrying about your competition and focus on your own business. Now, get back to work. |
