Rep Power: 0 | BUYER BEWARE Item for sale: BUYER BEWARE Cost of item: Phone number: Details: Be very careful doing business with VO Remarketing! first off they are not a member of the BBB and have an unsatisfactory record with them. http://data.fortcollins.bbb.org/comm...l?bid=46008423 as for me we purchased a Magic Tan 3000 and a Magic Tan 3500 from VO Remarketing. They will not accept 1/2 down and 1/2 on delivery even when using a leasing company. so we paid 1/2 in the begining of march and did not recieve the unit until april 18. it was packaged like a pile of garbage. it was missing a wheel for the compressor, compressor hose and a few screws. missing a few parts was acceptable to us as long as we were reimbersed. once i got the unit up and running i authorized the leasing company to pay the final 1/2 payment for the second unit. the payment was mailed on 4/25/06. we received the second unit on 5/4/06, however it was missing numerous parts. it was missing: 1.) all of the nuts, bolts and washers that hold the unit together. 2.) exhuast duct 3.) 2 Metal frame strips 4.) 1 L bracket 5.) all of the door hardware to hang the door 6.) 2 plastic discs for the front poles parts damaged: 1.) the main front acrylic was placed at the bottom of the pallet under everything else so it is badly scratched 2.) exhuast basin is broken 3.) top and base are badly scratched after immediately contacting Dusty at VO remarketing he assured me they would either A) find the parts or B) purchase the parts and have them "OVERNIGHT" shipped to me. monday May 8 he could not locate the parts and said he would contact magic tan corp to get them. buy wed still no answer so i called him and he said I needed to contact magictan corp to tell them the parts that were missing, which i immediately did. thursday may 11 dusty told me magic tan had gotten the parts and that i should be reciveing them "shortly". i reminded him that he said he would overnight them to us. Monday May 15 still no parts so i call dusty again. he says the parts were being shipped UPS and i should get them in a couple of days. i again reminded him that he said he would send them overnight. he said he had no control over how magic tan shipped them and that they were doing the best they could. he told me to contact magic tan directly. before i could dial the number he called me back and said that magic tan still did not have all the parts and it was NOT being shipped. i call magic tan and we finalized the parts list by the next day. Thursday May 18 i recieved a box from magic tan with the new exhaust basin and the 2 plastic discs. Friday May 19 i called magic tan to find out where the other parts were and she said that dusty from VO remarketing told her not to ship any of the other parts. so of course i call dusty and he says they found all the parts and would ship them to me. my question was if they new on tues to tell magic tan not to ship the additional parts, then why havent they already shipped the parts. i pretty much told dusty he was a lyer and he ended the call with me. i then called shane the owner and he said he had just within 10 min became aware of the problem AND that they would get an answer as to where my parts where and when they would be delivered. he said that either he or dusty would call me back. Today Wed May 24 i still have not heard from anyone at VO Remarketing and do not have the parts. in short i have had a machine missing MANY parts in my possesion for 3 weeks and still do not have the parts. VO Remarketing has made it very clear that they are not concerned with remedying the problem and they have no sense of urgency. i will be making a comlaint with the Colorado BBB and filing a small claims suit against VO Remarketing to be reimbursed for missing and damaged parts. this process started in Feb and we are now just days from june. |

It sounds like he had some issues that he needed to get to the bottom of it all and he did the best he could and is handling it. Good luck but Dusty's a good guy! |

ALso, obviously you released the monies for the second half so you could not have been that disatisfied. None of my business but I learned from experience that publicly writing these things you need to be very careful with words. I have requested a certain thread to be deleted that I posted because you have to let people try to make things right before you go bashing them. JMO and my experience. Good luck! |
