nutritional supplements

I was wondering how many of you carry nutrutional products in your salons and how they are working out for you. Anyone carry Vibe by Eniva?

I have protein powders, bars, creatine, fat burners...and I want them all gone so I can put in a big fish tank.

I don't know Vibe, but we sell Herbalife (sells very very well) for the people who want to lose weight and American Sports (selling better and better) for the people who want to gain muscles etc.

From both Herbalife and American Sports we sell only a selection of their lines. Through experience we learned what goes well and what not.

Vibe is wonderful It gives you energy the same day you take it. I WILL not be without it. We are trying to decide if we want to make it available to our clients but I really don't want to send it to them if that type of stuff doesn't sell well in salons.

Selling supplements is not an easy sale. The person that is selling them needs to understand how the supplement works and who should and should not take it.

I sell the Herbalife also. Also sell the Ruby Reds in my salon. Goes pretty quick.

Yes completely agree.

But if you're interested in it and want to learn about the products, it's pretty good business and brings in a public that you can sell other things to as well. Eg. that normally wouldn't go to a tanning salon.

Most people hate multi-level marketing, but a lot of salons are in a unique position that they already have the floor traffic. So products like Herbalife and Sunrider do well because you can sign the client as a down-level distributor and let them do the work.

I do not like the marketing policies of Herbalife at all. I do like the products though. So as long as I'm convinced of the quality and results of the products, I will sell them. I don't use the distributor-system, too much hassle for me.
