Do you allow flipflops to be worn by employees or just sneakers?

We allow flip flops to be worn. I know some will say it's a liability issue, but it's also a comfort issue during the summer months.

We sell flip flops. I like to wear and use stuff I sell in the shop. It hasn't gotten warm enough yet for us to be wearing them all the time, but I do allow my one employee and myself to wear them. I can see with bigger salons the potential liability issues that may arise

We are in Tennessee. Shoes are optional, I think it is state law.

I allow them to wear them as long as they are not nasty dirty and look to be like they had them for YEARS!! I dont see a problem with them.

LOL - i used to live in TN i believe you are right it is a state law. and if it isn't...it should be.

as for our salon - i allow it and wear them year round too.
