ive only been open a week. an tues i got a call from the VFW women of cancer wanting to know if i would donate. of course i did. but after we hung up i thought it to be funny a cancer fundraiser calling a tanning salon. i gave them a bottle of tanning lotion -n- moisturizer . just thought it was funny -n- weird.

because cancer assoations are usually saying the sun is bad so is tanning. ok maybe not funny But weird.

We donate and partipate in our yearly cancer walk, and have done so for the last five years.

I would think they would be happy to take $$$, but I am surprise they would accept a tanning product. We get approach by all kinds of organizations, all will take $$$ - but most of the health related groups don't want tanning products or services. Nice of them to want our $$$ though.

not that im a prick my wife , kids and i walk for cancer and jr diabiates. i donate for kids programs to keep them out of trouble. its just a cancer ***. calling a Tanning salon (didnt make much sence to me) and rember i did donate

It's just business. I'm sure they solicit donations from the tobacco companies, chemical companies, and food manufacturers too. It's just money folks, what's the big deal? -Belvy
