Rep Power: 130 | Setting Up the EFT Well I am thinking of offering EFT to my clients. I need some contract info. What kind of terms did you offer, did you just call your credit card company that provides your machine to set everything up? How does it work? Have their ever been any problems? Please help me! I want this to be a great thing for clients. |

Rep Power: 20 | Re: Setting Up the EFT We offer no contracts on the EFT's, we ask the customer for a 30 day notice to cancel. If you have computer software you can run it through there or you can manually run them through on your credit card machine.

Rep Power: 25 | Re: Setting Up the EFT There are many very good posts on this - I know we had a whole thread less than a year ago. Angelcat has a thread today in Industry Professionals where it is also being discussed. Having someone like Gulf Mgt handle it for you is great if you think it is going to get very large, or if you aren't good about following up on things. We do it in house. Some salons have ONE day when they run them all (e.g. the 15th or 1st of the month) and prorate the first month to that day. We actually do them daily, by the day they sign up. Evens out the cashflow throughout the month. Often the month unlimited is decreased to about half -- sometimes even more. Depends on your area and your competition. Some areas are as low as $18.88. I have a salon chain in my region as low as $11.99 (but not a full tan on the bed at that price), there is a chain in upstate NY that is $9.99/mo. $20ish to $30ish seems to be "typical". |
