OK here we go my 2 review on the comp - tanTALK

Ok so I was bored this morning and went grocery shopping, on my way in, I looked over at the new salon in town. I had tanned there thier second day they where open, so I am thinking they have to have fixed evrything by now, let's go check it out.....

I paid the 25.00 single visit fee for thier Dr. Muller 160 watt 44/4 bed, way over priced IMHO, anyway last time the facials where not working right and a few bulbs where out. And thier tanning rooms are bare, I mean NOTHING in the room but a brown paper towel dispenser, no mirrors, chairs, NOTHING. You want a towel you have to ask or you get the paper towels.

Anyway facials still not working, rooms still bare, bulbs still out AND this time 5 minutes into my 10 minute tan bed shuts down, noone knows whas wrong, I am like well on the display it says error 6, so they don't care and I am like I just paid 25 bucks, for 10 minutes not 5, so they say ok use the Solar Flare, ughhhh not a ETS fan at all, but was like hey ok I will check out another bed, whatever, thanks for letting me tan twice....

didn't like the bed, not to much into that frosted acrylic and the bad vibration the bed creates.

Overall, the salon is over priced and employees could not give a crap about anything going on there.

My two cents to salon owners...

You are not always right, you don't know everything, and while you think everything at your salon is perfect and the only way to run a salon, please remember that is not the case. Realize you can always learn from tanners and other salon owners because no matter how hard you try, you will not always be right or know it all.

That's my vent after listening to a salon onwer n town try to tell me how thier salon was the best and only salon in town worth a crap.... then had no reply when I asked,
"why did you not pay rent for 6 months and get evecited? "

Like every new business in town, it's the hype at first until people realize it's a joke in this case. I've already had new customers coming in complaining about them.

OMG.. thats nut.. I hopeyou got compensated after you TOLD them their equipment was working right? You did tell them right?

Thats so funny because I visited the salon where I used to tan (before I became an owner of one) that moved to a new location in a town 10 minutes away from me. I walked in expecting it to be really great because I heard how much money the owner was investing into this new salon. It was soooooooooooooo ugly. The entire salon was painted in this horrific purple. It was so dark in there I felt like I was in a dungeon. I love when the competition sucks....better for me!

I know what you mean Missy, one of our comps has such a joke of a salon. We are always hearing negative comments about the owner because they are drunk most of the time, and has a reputation for being the "village bicycle" if you know what I mean! The owner has this crazy salon that sells any kind of flea market find that you can imagine, and has just a couple of cheap *** beds, one of which is ancient and not even hooked up! The salon has the ugliest decor you can possibly imagine.
