Rep Power: 23 | help w/lotion diversion...please There is a hair salon in my(small) town carrying Designer Skin and AG/Swedish Beauty and they do not offer tanning. It would not bother me but they are selling all lotion @50% off retail. I have talked w/both manufactures many, many, many times. I have purchased lotion there and sent the proof to both manufactures. They both say they have sent threatening letters from their attorneys, they still sell lotion. I sent someone in the other day, They were selling Shamless by designer skin for $7.00! Tanning season is here and I'm afraid they are really going to hurt my lotion sales. What else can I do? |

Rep Power: 107 | Re: help w/lotion diversion...please Good luck. Every hair salon in our town does this too. It ticks me off to no end, but I don't see it stopping anytime soon. The lotion companies don't give a rip who sells their product, just as long as they are making money. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: help w/lotion diversion...please Sell hair products at 50% off even it it costs you money! I would even sell color for the women to take into the hair salon. But first I would ask the owner to stop or tell them what my action would be if the DIDNT quit today. Just my 2 cents. |

Rep Power: 28 | Re: help w/lotion diversion...please In most places you can't get hair color unless you are a licenced cosmetologist. I know I can get hair shampoo and other beauty stuff at cost, just not color. Maybe find out what shampoo's she sells and buy that and sell it for $1.00 over cost so that way your competing with her. PS if your state doesn't allow that, let me know and I will see if I can send you some LOL

Rep Power: 23 | Re: help w/lotion diversion...please I am licensed to buy most hair products. I have not done this because I have other friends who are cosmetologist. I have thought about just buying her out if I knew she wouldn't carry them anymore...after all I can get them from her just as cheap as I can from my distributor..LOL. |
